Our Mural
In September, my friend Gabriel Tejada and I began the process of designing a mural to be put up in El Agustino, Peru. The idea for this project was first conceived in February 2017 when Manuel Antonio Diaz Bazo, an art teacher at Colegio de la Inmaculada located in Lima, met with our art teacher, Ms. Klim. To brighten up downtrodden neighborhoods, students in Sr. Bazo's classes decorate walls with beautiful murals. My classmate and I were invited to design one such mural for El Agustino. After conducting some research on the local culture of the neighborhood, Gabe and I eagerly began working together to design this mural. Above are some pictures that document our process, as well as the finished design.

Our general concept was to put a modern twist on the many houses that occupy the hills of El Agustino, while mixing in more traditional Peruvian patterns and designs.
ABOUT MY PORTFOLIO
This portfolio is a combination of photography, paintings, and some of my major projects. My artistic influences vary widely. I will use anything -- geometry and symmetry, landscapes, people, etc. -- as inspiration for my works.
